Maybe I'm getting old but I've noticed recently that noble, traditional ways are being slowly eroded away. Modern existence is helter skelter living and technology is moving just as quick to stay a pace with it. Current speak is, 'facebook this' or 'twitter that' or 'mp3 the other' as everyone is an internet marketer, online entrepeneur or SEO specialist. Fair enough you have to keep up with the times but what's being lost in the process? Let me say, a lot!!
Crucial but simple traits in society have become the new endangered species. Characteristics like respect, good manners and neighbourhoodness are fading away. Great swathes of the Earth have now seen responsibility, honesty and patience lost in record numbers. Red alerts are out for togetherness, community and decency. We are all asked to do what we can to preserve them. But we've got human climate change. Mankind is getting hotter in mood, darker in mind and more colder in its hearts all the time. We're in for a storm soon if we're not careful!!
Please don't let the old fangled stuff die. Don't condemn them to history books or memories. Look for them everyday and point them out. Tell others, spread the word ( especially on the street ). Record where you've witnessed them. Be a supporter and give daily. Keep it simple, keep it real, above all keep it going. The little things are always the big things. Life is like a flower in our hands. Don't let it die the last of its kind.
